Registration for the 75th Annual Conference is open. Registration rates increase after October 1; sign up early to save. Full conference, one day only, and student registration options are available for the in-person and virtual event. Please review our COVID-19 readiness announcement, as well as our refund policy and risk-free registration statement prior to registering for the conference.

***Volume Discount for Groups- Virtual Registration Only: Group discounts will be given to 5 or more registrants from an agency or organization for Virtual Registration Only. In order to be eligible for the discount you MUST have 5 virtual registrants and use the code, Volume5+ to reduce the registration expense by $25 each person (applies to Virtual Registration Only). This is a great opportunity to have more staff from your organization participate if they cannot attend in person or you have travel restrictions. COVID-19 Readiness: Keeping You Safe & Healthy at the Southeast Fish & Wildlife Conference

On behalf of the Southeastern Association of Fish & Wildlife Agencies and The Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources, we are excited to hold our first hybrid event. Our concern for attendee health and safety is our top priority. To that end, we are implementing the following guidelines for anyone in attendance in Roanoke, Virginia. 

These guidelines are subject to change if new guidance is issued on, before, or during the Annual Conference by the State of Virginia, the City of Roanoke, or the CDC.

Safety Guidelines for In-Person Attendance:

  • Vaccination is required to attend this conference in person. Show proof of vaccination when you check in at the Conference Registration Desk. A paper copy or photo on your phone will be accepted. We will not retain any copies of this certificate.
  • Masks are recommended in all indoor meeting and event spaces. Masks will be required for group transportation (i.e., on the bus) to and from any offsite venues.
  • Social distancing will be adhered to, when possible, in meeting spaces, meal spaces, and in group transportation.
  • Daily temperature checks will be required when entering the meeting room.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available at the Conference Registration Desk.
  • You will be required to sign a COVID-19 Conference Waiver when you register.
  • If you experience COVID symptoms during the conference, please remove yourself from all conference activities and spaces. Please contact Meg Boera at Delaney Meeting & Event Management (meg@delaneymeetingevent.com). SEAFWA will let other attendees know if there’s a positive case, but will maintain strict confidentiality.

 

Refund Policy and Risk-Free Registration:

Due to the uncertainty in our times, cancellations for any reason will be refunded until October 1st for 2021. Cancellations occurring from October 2nd to October 8th will be refunded minus a $50 administrative fee. However, cancellations after October 8th will not receive any refund due to obligations that SEAFWA will have committed to with caterers and event contractors.
 
In-person registrations may be converted to virtual attendance prior to October 8th with a refund provided reflecting the registration rate difference.  However, after October 8th, no refund of the rate difference can be provided. Virtual registrants may also switch to in-person attendance by paying the registration rate difference applicable at the date the switch occurs.

Payment Note:

Meeting attendees MUST pay in full for their registration fee BEFORE gaining access to the virtual meeting platform.
