The Research Ecologist/Wildlife Biologist (Assistant Unit Leader) will plans, conduct, and direct research related to wildlife or ecological resources, with application to contemporary science, policy and management needs. Preferred candidates will have experience conducting applied research in natural resources ecology with applications to waterfowl and waterbird habitat management at landscape levels. Ideally, the candidate will have research experience in bottomland hardwoods, rice prairie, Mississippi Alluvial Valley agricultural regions, or similar systems. Expertise in spatial analyses and remote sensing is highly desirable.
